Haasini, SSE grp3, San Antonio: Sairam everyone! This is Haasini. These are some bags we use in place of plastic bags. The white bag is from Amazon and we use it to store vegetables when we buy them. The light yellow one is used for storing and buy vegetables. We got these hand made in India. These are a great alternative to plastic bags! We also stopped using the plastic spoons at school and use metal ones instead. We also use handkerchiefs in place of normal napkins. We do the same in airports. Thank you everyone for showing me all these new ideas. I am learning so much from this. Thank you all!

Reusable bags frm old t-shirts. They are pretty strong and can hold a lot. I made a couple - use one for grocery. 1 for storing some small yard tools. No-sew reusable bags with T-shirts.

Fancy carry bag:

If t-shirt does not have an design that you want to save, you can cut a deep neck to make like a fancy bag.

Grocery bag:

If t-shirt has a design that you want to save, you can cut small neck to make like a grocery bag that can hold a lot of things.

Sairam Kids & parents, this week has been quite in WhatsApp & Website. Come on, let's hear from you....

These few questions, I got asked this week, about shopping challenge:

1. How can I attempt the challenge if I only shop online?

A. Order from Whole Foods & Sprouts kind of stores, which deliver in paper bags :) OR At curbside, ask if they can do No-Plastic bags; transfer to your reusable bags. Try to think innovatively, how you can tailor the challenge to be better for environment.

2. What if I didn't shop this week?

A. Share you eco-friendly shopping tips & maybe share pics of your reusable bags (bought or made from material at home).

3. Are silicone…
